I liked reading this six-word poetry contest entry. It seems life is full of more short and small occasions than large and expensive, flashy ones. So this also sounds like a meek and mild truth as well. Nice share, and good luck in that contest!

My pleasure, Tony.

I like your use of a colon in this - I don't see that often in poetry. It's simple and to the point, Tony. Just like the best moments of life.
Good luck to you in the contest.

Your poem makes one appreciate the simple pleasures of life. Life is not good all the time, but it is those little moments that make life worth living. The picture added that extra touch. Good luck in the contest.

It certainly is, and as the older we get the more those little moments become extra special, when children grow up, when people are no longer with us. You've used your six words well Tony. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks very much, Valda. I appreciate your kind comments. I was pipped at the post in the contest by Katiemae. I have to admit that hers was the better poem!
Comment from Dawn Munro
Perfect! I don't think a six-word poem could get any better than this -- life is indeed a collection of small moments even to the point of being what we remember as we age: the good ones.
Best of luck in the contest.

This is a lovely six word poem. It is often the little things that matter the most. I think we all got to appreciate the simple little things during COVID. The small moments are often the ones I treasure the most. Particularly those that I share with my children. Thanks for sharing and best of luck in the contest.
