This is funny, and it's true. No sooner do Halloween necessities appear in the stores, but Christmas stuff soon follows. All the work Christmas entails is scary. Cards to send, decorations to put up, food to prepare, not to mention expensive gifts to buy. Great presentation, and good luck. judi

Well written. This verse presents the ghosts of some element of our festive occasions, time passes for everyone. We must all prepare for excessive retail and gluttony, something about this got stuffed along the way! The poet's choice of language and graphic was very effective/

Ha ha ha! I agree with you here, as Halloween is mild compared to Christmas, which is an expense we can always do without. We have bonfire night on November 5th which you guys don't celebrate. I enjoyed your fun post, love Dolly x x x
