I was drawn to this as the weeping willow is one of my favorite trees. I wanted one in my garden but my husband thinks they look too sad. This is a lovely poem. You have done a great job creating an alternating free verse/rhyme verse poem - the flow is maintained despite the alternating style between verses. Thank you for sharing.
