Quite the strange faces on some of those pumpkins, but I guess that's what Halloween is about...strange and wide to scare and amuse. Well done!

What a fine haiku like 5-7-5 for the contest. Check the word "orange" it may have 2 syllables which would give you 6 syllables in your first line
Otherwise it is a cute 5-7-5 and best wishes in the contest.

Yes, I would agree with your Sartori line that says, odd October art it really is odd that each October we use pumpkins to show different geometric shapes on how we feel inside.
This is an excellent haiku although it doesn't claim to be it gives us the impression of being odd art.
