What a cute story! With a great mislead. A reader thinks it's a human talking. One begins to kind of get a little clue mid-way through. But the ending is still a fun surprise.

I like your allegory of those who eat from dumpsters, figuratively speaking. I know you care about the real homeless people who are in God's favor, but have to eat there.
That being said, your essay is an excellent way to express your feelings for those who love God!
Your last line is out of place for what a striking work you've written.

Actually, I go by the buzzards every day as I look for animals to feed, and I visualized the vultures by the dumpster and the singing birds in the tree.
