Well written Jim. Looks like you are climbing up the poet ranks one by one. One spring I was in AZ after an unusually wet year. The dry rivers ran and cactus bloomed. I have never seen anything more profound than all those colors in the desert. Sounds like you are in a wintry place. Esther

Brother Jim, wake up, you must be dreaming. For winter hasn't even set in yet, and just last week half the country was still in the 90s. But don't worry, you won't be wrong long, cold and blowing snow will be here soon. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

i prefer winter.
when the temperature rises
my mood tends to lower...
but i can see how many others prefer the warmer months
this was a great spring poem with melting snow...

You look like you are having fun. I am still behind in reviewing. I owe you five more. I hope your health is doing okay. I have been watching "Brokenwood" on Acorn tv. Mysteries with humor. My favorite kind. Nice writing. Karen

This is a very nicely, written poem expressing the joys of spring arrival after a cold winter. I enjoyed it very much and it is very well done. Patricia.

You used strong descriptive words in this beautiful poem. I see you're ready for spring and we just began with autumn. LOL I enjoyed reading and thank you for sharing.
