Hmph... I wonder how many games of Beer Pong were played before this incident occurred?
Sally, you know I'm only joshing... we all know it was the Fuzzy Duck game that did you in...
Still joking!!
Debi wrote you an amazing poem which notified us of your oops in the kitchen and you know you are in our prayers for a quick recovery. You need to show the chair who's boss here, right?
Get better quickly.
We all love you!

that is the perfect last line. also the cha cha cha line.
How do you find out all these things about people?
I thought Sally knew every inch of her house. Am surprised she bumped into a chair.
Anyway, glad she didn't break anything. Know she likes your accolade :)

This thoughtful poem is very well done and your compassion for Sal is clear. I join you in your sentiments and wish her well, and an eventless healing process.

What a sweet pick me up foe your friend who hot hurt. I'm glad she can laugh about it and I'm sure too that this poem made her smile. Thanks for sharing. Hope she makes a full recovery soon!

Lol! What a great piece Debi. Great rhyming scheme, great way to tell a story about someone too. I really enjoyed reading this one. I know it's not funny, but the way you tell it makes it so. Keep up the great work!

Ouch! Any damage to feet or hands can be a literal pain and you tell the story with immediacy and humour. I hope Sally, whoever she is, feels better soon... (It sounds to be a true story). Love the last lines.

Hi Debi,
Poor Sally. I wonder how her foot is doing now... do you know? She's still writing, though. She just finished another chapter in her "end times" series. She has a wonderful hubby, though. Jack will take good care of her. He'll play "footsie" with her good foot!
My favorite lines,
"She'll have to settle for the spa
'Cause there will be no cha-cha-cha"
and,
"Don't give your foot another whack
You'll lose more footsie time with Jack"
Nicely penned!
Hugs,
Kimbob

I am so sorry to hear if Sally's accident with the chair. Being almost blind myself, I can understand totally how she could've hit a chair that she didn't realize was there. I walk with a walker and the other day I had a chair that I didn't know was there, but fortunately my walker kept me from doing any damage to myself. Dear Sally, we love you and are so sorry for your accident, but we also know that you are a real trooper and you have a good sense of humor thank you so much for loving us and for giving us your beautiful work Patricia.

I'm sorry to hear about Sally's accident. She remains on my permeant prayer list, as you do. I will surely add this special prayer. Oh my, as we age things happens and she's at a disadvantage having a sight problem. Thank you again, our special angel.

One of the worst things about accidents is that they never take place on purpose and are almost always embarrassing. It is virtually impossible to look god during an accident, and many times there is some sort of injury to accompany it. So, there is also the element of pain. I do hope that Sally will recover fully from her unfortunate encounter.
