I guess once orchid wither, they aren't nearly as glamours as they originally were. To be honest I never thought about that. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Orchids are a beautiful flower while blooming. But like most flowers, when they start to die, it's almost spooky. The colors change from vibrant and pure to a death palour. This was a neat poem. Gretchen

Oh, no, the haiku inspiration will revive from the garden with new blooms! Orchids are slow to die, slow to feed, slow to do anything - especially slow to rebloom!
