This opening made me giggle, and want to find someone to call a "gombeen." But all I have around me are gobshites. Oh well. What a fun opening to a story, and yes, I would read on to find out if Seamus Always gets rescued.

Hmm, not sure about this one. I would recommend looking over the contest rules once more. I remember seeing it emphasize, there being only one paragraph. That is not what is currently displayed. You may want to rewrite before you get DQed and waste the entry fee.

This was such an enjoyable read! The leprechaun's witty attitude had me smiling throughout. I love the insults. You really nailed his personality. The humor and pacing kept it interesting. This has so much charm!
