Ciao poet you now have now 9 votes.
When I take a walk in my pine forest I often ponder on the things that happened lately in my life.
Sometimes I even go further back in time and I think of my parents and the short time we had together.
And that's when I have many regrets.
If only we could live our lives a second time ..

Ohhhh, you did SUCH a fantastic job with this new form that we invented!! I am totally impressed with your creation here and could not love it more! You embraced it and ACED it, in the way that is your calling card. REALLY nice work, Mystery Poet!! xoxox

This twisted loop poem, Reflections, has the proper formatting and is presented with ease and correctness which makes the device invisible within the piece.

Oh, thank you Bill for these words. Loops are hard and to make them appear seamless is a gargantuan task. So appreciate your review.

I enjoyed your clever twisted loop as you choose words that sound the same but have very different meanings, a fine entry for the contest and these poems are quite hard to write, so well done, love Dolly x

Without the memories to console me and keep my mind from the darkness, my walk would be a desolate one. Your poem tells us to be positive and seize the joy where we can.

Hi
This is an interesting twist on the loop poem. I must make it harder to write when you have to find homophones. It makes in more fun to read.
I like the idea of reflecting on life while taking a walk.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Good luck in the contest.
Have a nice weekend.

For me this is about slowing down and taking in what you have experienced in life. I love that. You have a gentle tone which I really enjoyed. Beautifully written with excellent word choices. It's a hint that we should consider their own past. Truly lovely!
