Nice thoughts. I spent a year in Korea and came to love Kimchi - the brown pots of cabbage fermenting on the rooftops. Your poem brought back great memories. Good luck in the contest. Stay well.

thanks, I what Koreans call a Kimchi chudok or KImchi addict we were in Korea about the same time. I served in the Peace Corps from 1979 to 1981 then taught ESL and basic skills to enlisted personnel from 1981 to 1984 with one year teaching at the Korean Army ammnistrative school
