Normally the "all is not well" would have me worried about what is to come but in the case of you two, I cannot wait! It probably just means more mindless mayhem at a new location so bring it on!

You just may be right. We are toying with an idea to keep this going. This has been a fun project. Thank you so much. Gretchen

Hello Gretchen,
I'm glad you felt strong enough about the subject of Rebekah to confront Ezra. The argument you presented was well thought out, even if it was a spur of the moment thing. I'm curious as to why two cars have shown up instead of just the one. I don't like the way the unexpected usually turns out. I guess I'll just have to wait and see how this shakes out. Well done gal.
Have a blessed evening.
Tom

I wonder if I'm one of those idiots you don't engage with.... lol probably.

I love this chapter, so much has happened! What are the bad news.... I wonder.

I don't like Ezra but I understand his pov.

I can't wait for the next chapter.... so much to deal with.

You live near the ocean? How lucky.

Well done

I can promise you you are not on that list. Lol. It's usually someone who tries to waste my time with politics. Thank you so much. Gretchen

Terrible thought that all is not well! You two really need to get out of there before someone is really upset. Has the teenager shown signs of wanting to leave with you? I think I missed that.

Rachelle had mentioned it to her. This mystery person is going to gunk things up, I believe. Gretchen

I love how authors come together and create such an amazing book. Great minds do think alike. What a creative storyline. Rachelle is something else for sure. Great writing.

I enjoy knowing what you saw, heard, said, and think. You describe feelings that the reader can identify with. Now that it looks like you may be back on the road, your gut is telling you something, and I believe in gut feelings. I look forward to your reflections on your next adventure.

This is an important message - we can agree to disagree. We can still respect others even if they have different opinions (especially politically ! ) from us. But we can acknowledge that they are made in God's image and is loved by God so if Ezra believes his Bible, he should also be humbled by the little speech. I wonder if that's enough to give him peace about Rebekah leaving.

"Oy vay, Rachelle you look mashugana." (Oy vey) if you mean the adjective then the mashuga techinically should be mashuga'at but no one would really focus on that.

I must admit that life in an Amish community would be an enormous challenge for me, or for anyone for that matter, our adventures some years ago in Lancaster county was very interesting and the Amish probably make a good buck out of their business ventures, well done, blessings Roy

Thank you for sharing this with us. I can't wait to see who this other person in the car is. I don't feel especially good about it myself. This is another really good write.

Gretchen,
another 6. and good for you, confronting Ezra. And, since you were also trying to be nice, maybe some of what you said, stuck.
Now, you have brought in a mystery person, when I thought you and Rachelle were about to ride off into the sunset.
So, more intrigue. I look forward to it.
Oh, what in the world is mashugana?

Lol. Mashugana is Hebrew for crazy acting or foolish. I have heard that word all of my life. Finally looked it up. Thank you so much for this awesome review and the kind words. Mystery person could lead to another story. We shall see. Gretchen

what a great sounding word; and if you'll forgive me, my first thought was if you say it forcefully, it would make a great cuss word! mashugana!!
almost sounds like you're putting a pox on somebody. :) or, it could be a signing off word.
    Mashugana,

We think alike. I turned Fudge cicles into a bad word. Lol.
reply by pome lover on 08-Sep-2024
speaking of cicles, cycles? have you tried the new apricot ones? I ate my last one and don't remember the brand name. They are good, but not as good as the peanut butter ice cream ones with chocolate, sea salt, and nuts on the outside. heaven.
