Just like my white pony elephant conversations with Gary. I know better now than to ask what he likes to eat. Just serve it up. Meat and tater's. Corn dogs. Maybe a can of SpaghettiOs which he will open and eat cold but wrecks havoc on his blood sugar. By the time I turn to him to read his lips I only get the final word. Fact not fiction...only he calls me his "dearest dear" or Pooh-Cakes. Esther

This is a very funny pre-dinner dialogue between couple where one is suffering the unfortunate effects of presbycusis I presume. He needs to see an audiologist asap or divorce will surely be on the cards lol. Very well done!

I wonder if you heard me laughing or perhaps I interrupted your sleep. I needed a giggle; I got it. The imagery is superb. One can feel the tension. In my mind, I kept thinking, 'Someone is deaf.' Hilarious dialogue between husband and wife. Either she's hard of hearing, or he's tongue-tied. Great job following the Dialogue Only Prompt rules. A definite contender.

This was a horrible conversation, but a creative and funny Dialogue Only contest entry. You included clear, succinct, understandable statements from each party. The reader could easily understand each character, even if the characters were confused. Best wishes in the contest.
