This is a solid chapter and the only things that I see that could be an issue are: The editor removed the spacing and formatting of your post. Suggest you go back edit that. Also, I recommend increasing the font size to at least 18.

Nicely done! I think what I like most about it is the characters you have in this story. Cindra Conners relentless drive and planning make her a powerful force. The way you've shown her strategic maneuvers is so well written. The tension in your writing is powerful. Especially in the scenes where Cindra asserts her authority. Her calculated use of information and her control over Grant Hansen is something else. This is an excellent chapter. So well written.
