So many twists in this short story! What a great way to use the theme! I didn't see any typos. I loved trying to figure out what was real and what was a joke.

That was a nice twist at the end, although a cruel prank for him to pull on his sister. I could really feel how frightened she was, I think I would be too, particularly after reading a ghost story. I really enjoyed your piece. Good luck in the contest.

This was a clever way to keep the reader guessing. Who was pranking whom? If Carrie was really scared, why was she brave enough to play the trick on her brother? Everybody scaring someone else was a good twist.

Thanks for the kind review. Actually, I left the reader to figure out if Carrie was just sneaking back into the house or was she creeping out her brother on her way home? It could go either way, I suppose. Thanks for the great review.

Honestly, wasn't sure I liked it. It first yet I kept going and love how it ended each person trying to be a ghost and play a prank on another. What a creative way to have a story be told.

I think young readers--as well as adults--will like this ghost story because (1) it's about kids who like to scare their younger siblings with ghost stories, (2) you have set the scene very well with your description, and (3) there is plenty of action as the older kids play tricks on one another.
