They feel part of the family, so fancy leaving them outside in the cold and when fireworks are exploding.

an excellent entry for the ode to winter writing prompt. I love the message in this poem. So many dogs left outside druing the coldest days and nights of the year. if you're going to have a pet, love them like they deserved to be loved! Thanks for sharing

That's what my mamma used to say to me.
If you want a pet, you need to care and love it as a family member. My dogs and cats have always lived inside.
It's upsetting to know so many dogs are left outside in the cold and when the fireworks explode on new Year's Eve.
