This is simply a delightful read, narrated with a distinctive seasonal flavour and filled with sights and sounds and flavours - and even weather forecasts - well done- has my vote.

Hi
This looks like a good entry for the contest. Good luck with that!!
I didn't know that the morning has a twilight as well as the evening. Twilight simply means that the sun isn't visible, but it's still shedding light. So in the morning it's between Dawn and sunrise. And in the evening it's between sunset and dusk. I found that interesting and I hope you do too
I think this is beautiful. It flows very well and has a lot of homesick descriptions of what happened in yesteryear. I am in an assisted living facility, and our oldest resident recently died at the age of 104 So she was born in 1920 she lived through the model T and other cars were brand new
The roaring 20s as they say, but she would've been too young to enjoy that part of the 20s
We have lots of residents in their 90s. One's 98 and she still goes walking with her walker. She, also can remember the model T.
Every generation has radically changed our views and society. For the generation in their 30s 40s, they revolutionized computers so now we have iPhones before iPhones it was laptops. There was a time when nobody had a personal computer and that wasn't that long ago it was in the 90s.
The airplane was invented 1903. It wasn't readily available to the public until much later because it was used in World War I But it must've been exciting for people to fly
It's amazing how safe air travel is now
I just thought you provided some very nostalgic and good descriptions for each season and what children would do. Oh I just realized when you missed Halloween. But a lot of people who are God fearing don't like Halloween and maybe you are one of those people
Very well done
Here. flyers
"Spring came with its promise of new life. Kite flayer's looked forward to March winds"
Here. Everything else is in the past tense, and this is in present tense.
"The scent of fall apples and burning leaves are all an integral part "
I enjoyed reading your story
Good job. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for reviewing my story. I enjoyed reading your reply, maybe more than you may have reading mine. I am opposed to Halloween, but I also have some interesting memories regarding the event.

Your youth is full of vivid memories of all the joys of nature, from food to activities when we are agile and free from joint pain. I enjoyed the journey here, good luck with the contest, love Dolly x

So well written. This tale expresses a great response to the prompt. The imagery chosen was apt, and created a vivid picture of the circle of our world and humanity, fond memories of childhood. Good luck with the contest.
