It's thoughtful of Ohmie to consider preparing Prince Shauconnery for his upcoming kingship someday and allowing him to come along and even pretend to be piloting the dragon. Yay, Ohmie - a true hero who doesn't keep all the glory for himself!

Ohmie used his brain again to find a way to tame a dragon, more or less. The kingdom of Ohmie's father-in-law has been enriched by the dragon's treasure and Prince Shauconnery now looks like a capable young ruler. Everyone is happy, except maybe the dragon. You have one problem in this chapter: You have used the wrong word for "reins". Good story and a fun one as well.

I'm sure wasn't your intention, but my childhood grief at seeing the Giants having to be slain in my storybook kicked in and I started to feel very sorry for this poor dragon who was acutely tortured, starved and robbed of his gold. My sympathy often goes to the underdog even when he is almost as big as a barn.

At least I didn't kill him, which is the fate of most dragons. And the eye and the tail were sort of accidental injuries. (smiley face here)

It was well-done and didn't seem needlessly long at all. An interesting chapter and I liked the way Ohmie learned to control a dragon. That's something Sinbad never did! Also liked the fact the Princess and he seem to be more intimate.
