"Democracy or Autocracy" Uh, I'll take the first one, please.
Nicely met the syllable count requirement for each line.
"Patriot or Criminal" Again, the former option.
I agree with the message and sentiment of your poem.
Good luck in the contest.

Thanks for the read and feedback. We must vote, can't let a criminal be the leader of our government.

Fellow Democrat, Hello!
Your poem has few words, but your point is cogent and straightforward.

Thanks for the read and review. Hope you make your vote count. We need to save our country from a tyrant.

This 5-7-5, Our Choice, has the proper formatting and sends the current conundrum out to the voters: re-elect the Democrats under the helm of Harris, or re-elect the festering wart we had removed once.

I like the way you describe the political situation. Thanks for the read and feedback.

In politics there are no good guys or good choices. None. They're all liars and opportunists and egomaniacs. Everything they say is scripted and vetted and plotted beforehand to show them in their best light...because if they were ever shown in the NATURAL light, no one would EVER pull the lever with their name on it!! Filthiest, most dastardly occupation in the world, and anyone who believes otherwise is naive to the point of childlike.

I must say I agree. Years ago, my grandfather said, he doesn't vote any longer because, "They are all crooks." However, in this election there is an obvious choice. We Americans must vote to move ahead, and not go back. I will vote because I do not want to live in a country lead by a criminal who wants to destroy our Constitution.

The other choice is a person who babbles on about tomorrow being today's yesterdays and yesterday being today's yesterdays or something equally inane. Have you SEEN that video? Or the one where she's giving a speech at Howard University on "Reproductive Rights?" She is the most vacuous person I have ever listened to. She talks on and on and says absolutely NOTHING!! Trump says far too much, not one bit of it nice....as in EVER. I'm glad the choice is so easy for you, but all it does is make me sick to my stomach.

Must choose the lesser of the evils.
