Great entry for the 6 Word Poetry contest. Good word count and I like the presentation. Good word choice.

I would write in a complete sentence... phrase.,, it would improve the flow. Right now you have a list of things. They are interconnected but stops harshly between letters.

What I mean...

Truck smashed!! Thank God Family's safe
or
Truck screeched!! Thank goodness Family's safe

Definitely a fortunate one, and many if there was a family involved. I was in a head on collision in 2005 and T-boned a Cadillac Escalade. I was in a Saab. I had to be cut out of the driver's seat by the jaws of life. A grace and experience I will never forget. I miss that beautiful car too! Oh well--just a car.

Every time I hear sirens I pause and say a prayer, because that means somebody is in trouble. Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. I enjoyed reading and good luck.

HOw did you take it upon yourself to enter in such a limited themed contest. Seems, nearly impossible to have something to brief succeed. I wish you well, as everyone else has to meet the same requirements

I pray this isn't based on a true occurrence and I am thankful that the poem says everyone was okay.... except the truck of course. We never know how our life can change ... in seconds or in this case, six words! Good luck!

It would have been fine - and dramatic - but you have eight words here, rather than the needed six words. There is a later contest for eight or fewer words. Tom may be able to transfer it over for you. Best wishes for its success.
