I still enjoy cloud watching and finding shapes in them. I've that a few times in my novels. Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us and good luck with the contest.

This poem is so neat. I would like to attempt this kind of poetry. I'm not sure I'm that brave though. Good luck with this contest and happy writing! Such a beautiful poem!

I see many things in the clouds all the time, so your words are perfect for me. Usually I see animals, I have seen whales, dolphins and bettas but recently I observed a cloud shaped like Cape Cod where I live. I enjoyed this poem!

You must be a nephophile (cloud-lover) like me! I enjoyed your looping poem that describes all the changes in the sky. You gave us the sky "movie" in your poem. Best wishes in the contest!
Dirt flys, real animals scatter, fear (Dirt flies?)

We step out of our human-self into our spiritual self. So we can see the beautiful animals etc. K xx
Comment from Heather Knight
I like the very beautiful and realistic descriptions in your poem, though I don't fully get why you describe it as spiritual. My bad, I'm sure.
I think there's a typo: flys should be flies.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi heather, I changed it to supernatural and flies instead of flys. Thanks for reading. K xx

Your poem took me back to childhood, when my sisters and I laid on the grass in our backyard. watching the clouds and pointing out what we saw. When a storm came, we ran in the house and watched lightning strikes from the kitchen window.
You did a marvelous job describing the marshmallow clouds and changes in the sky. Best wishes in the contest.

Comment from Debbie D'Arcy
This is another of your lovely loop verses on your precious theme of nature imagined in those billowing clouds. I enjoyed the progress of the verse to its crescendo with Willy-Willy dancing in the dirt. And then the resumption of blue sky as the animals awaken from our dreams.
Small edit: dirt fl(ie)s.
A very pleasing and imaginative entry for the contest! Good Luck, Kay! Debbie xx

Hello Debbie, When we enter our spiritual side (like meditation) we can see all forms of nature and beyond. Bless you, K XX
Comment from June Sargent
I really enjoyed this parade of animals in the sky. Our imagination can create images of animals from a-z. With the blue sky as our canvas, there is no limit to what we can paint - until a storm moves in. Great entry for the contest.

I enjoyed reading what may go on the sky during a nice day when white puffy clouds seem to form shapes like animals. Then the picture changes as storm clouds gather and lightening flashes and rain falls but the storm passes and we're back to blue skies with whilte puffy clouds that looks like animals parading across the sky.
