Deftly done. Wonderfully written. Absolutely awestruck. I did one as well, mine was cleverly humerous. Yours was thoughtfully printed for posterity. Karen

LOL I have felt at times my writing has twirled into nothingness. I bet all authors have felt that at times. Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. I want to wish you luck with the contest.

This six-word poem, Lost Pages, has the proper word count and makes me think that the written word, in a book, will outlast the disital versions, which require electricity to exist.

Hi Heather,
This is a real neat entry for the 6 Word contest. I love the rhyme of "swirl/twirl", and the blur that occurs as I look down the page.
I see your poem slightly different, though.
What do you think of this?
words swirl,
ink twirls
to nothingness.
Good Luck in the contest! Could be a winner~
Hugs,
Kimbob

That's so true, shelley the words we write only last as long as someone is interested in reading them. You used your six words extremely well for this contest.. Good luck with it,cheers

I love your short poem. Good word count. Nice presentation and word imagery.
I know what you mean, it's easy to get lost in a good story.

Kinda a metaphor to words that tunnel through my imagination as I create words for a novel. Love this image! Looks cool! Words twist in the imagination and debackled by time. Guess the words would spiral into nothingness if it's spun like a Top fast enough! A blue. Love this picture and presentation!

Words, most times, have a self life. Whether spoken or written, deliverers often have changed their thoughts and views by the time the words are out. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

I liked the internal rhyming and the swirling and twirling and inking to nothingness really fits the picture. But now I'm thinking - does that mean the words then just disappear and have no lasting effect? A thought-provoking poem in just six words!
Best wishes in the contest!

Did you come to a conclusion?
Thanks for reading. xxx

No conclusion - which is completely fine for a poem which can be understood in multiple ways...

I always love your imagination, Maria! The visual is eye-catching and your six words cleverly capture, in those two words of swirl and twirl, the movement and power of the words which can endure much longer than the spoken word but, equally, be lost through neglect or deliberate destruction. Well done and good luck! Debbie
