Hi Zanya,
I guess the global network was in chaos the other day. It didn't affect us very much here in Saint John, New Brunswick. And I don't rely on all the gizmos that are available these days, just my computer. I'm old school. But I wouldn't want to be traveling anywhere when a glitch pulverizes the system. We are spoiled, aren't we?
I enjoyed your entry in the 75-word Flash Fiction. Not an easy contest! Alexa, where were you???

Hi Zanya,
I guess the global network was in chaos the other day. It didn't affect us very much here in Saint John, New Brunswick. I like your use of personification. There seems to be some anachronistic description here also. And I would say also juxtaposition. You may not realize it but you are using many literary techniques. Good summary.

Lol. Yes - some would feel totally lost without a screen to rule their lives and tell them when to wake up etc! It didn't affect my computer, phone, or screen at all. (Was that fortunate or not?) Best wishes for your entry.

We don't even realize how much white noise our digital paraphenelia distributes until it's no longer there. And then the silence is deafening. It's been quite the chaotic day without our cyber-needs being met! Will we be smart enough to have a Plan B in place for next time?
