I liked reading this post. It sounds like Karen probably appreciated this very much. The only suggestion I had was to change the spelling of 'tarter' to 'tartar.'

It's good to see you on here again. I know you've been really busy. I didn't realize which Karen you were talking about at first until I read it was Karen Cherry Threadgill. She's an interesting gal. No one can accuse her of not speaking her mind. What day in August is her birthday? How did you find out about it? I'll have to remember to send her a card if I can get her address. Thank you so much, Tom, for your generous review and kind words. Yes, I've been gone about five weeks and man I'm glad to be home. I tried to drop in a read a couple times, but I finally got so far behind that I had to just dump and start from scratch. I sure missed all the stories. Karen actually set up her own contest. So, just look in the contests and write a Limerick. I didn't realize it was suppose to be a Limerick and added the Limerick later. LOL. I guess I'll call it a senior moment. God bless, my friend!
