Your writing captures such deep emotions and raw honesty. I thought you shared this story so well even the little details which made this feel so real and modern even though it took place a long time ago. The way you express insights and reflections through your words is impressive. The ending was so horrible but also so touching. His faith gave him so much strength.

Good edition to the previous chapter. That second paragraph seems very ironic, after the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Not that Trump is an equivalent figure to Stephen (few are) but when Truth becomes annoying, people try to murder it.

You are so speedy! I literally just finished this.
Yah that attack was sus...I mean the guy was so visible! And being a former president, Trump should have had pristine security. My guess is it's either a warning or a clumsy inside job.
