This is a wonderful poem about our military people who lay down their lives for our country and our freedom. I'm not a poet, so I shall comment on the words you use. Great job!

This six-line poem, The Fallen, has the proper formatting and reminds the readers that many have given the last measure to serve and protect those who remain.

Nicely done! Your poem beautifully shares what we owe to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The imagery is fantastic. I love the lines "headstones lain in perfect rows". For me that is such a powerful visual. The words "winds of sacrifice, crimson and hot" highlight the bravery and cost of their service.

I like this effort at a six- line poem. A rather somber topic but well put together and good rhyming. Thanks so much for sharing. All the best in the competition.

I enjoyed reading your poem. Many of the fallen are so young. They have given their lives for us. I am so thankful for all of them. Poem is well written. Great job.

Love this! Well written piece that really captures the spirit of the sacrifice of so many. Lives of soldiers that had much to live for but died so that we could live. Thank you for sharing your gift of poetry with us.

This is a great poem! I imagine that the author is from the US? And the headstones mentioned are maybe in Arlington?
I am a Veteran (British Army), and right near where I live is a Commonwealth War Graves cemetery, so this well constructed poem resonates with me. Good luck with the competition!
