This continues to be an enjoyable read. The dialogue flows naturally. Demi's foresight and Tyler's pragmatic approach contrast well! The inclusion of the hunters guild seems to be setting the stage for trouble! We will see!

Or are the hunters going to be surprised and be consumed by the tainted?
Somehow, I don't feel like the hunters are going to die because two of them are the big stars of the story
Who is the narrator in the story? The one who is first person? I guess it's Taya

Thank you and yes, Taya is the narrator. Except for in the side stories, then different people narrate
