I thought you were a newbie. I haven't seen you hardly at all. I have been reading you blind though.:-)
Hint: Unless you have taken the picture yourself, you need to acknowledge where you got the picture from in the author's notes. There are many places to get free pictures. You download them to your computer and then add them to your story when asked to do so. Pinterest is my favorite. Google, Bing, Stock, and others offer a small amount to use every month. If you find a new good place, let us all know. Karen

Thank you for the review and the tip. I usually just go to Google, and type in images and then whatever I want an image of. I used to try to always use the art available on here, but sometimes it is impossible to find what you need, and I've found that lots of times it doesn't accurately give me what I ask for. Such as, I can type in "storms" and get pictures of kittens, or something of that nature.

Nice artwork chosen to illustrate the words. The poem shows the stages storms go through. I wish there would be less of these.

Your poem beautifully captures the urgency and tension of an approaching storm with just a few words. The shift from "watch" to "warning" really hits you! Reading it you feel impending danger and the instinct to seek safety. Nicely done!

Thank you so much! Last Thursday we had to take shelter in our bathroom due to a tornado that hit about 3 miles from our house. Today, we are feeling the effects of the hurricane that hit Texas and are under, at the moment, tornado watch. Thus, my inspiration. I appreciate you reviewing.

This 3-5-3, Tornadoes, has the proper formatting and reminds those who see a funnel cloud that the day will get worse before it gets better. Ditch, basement, or other low shelter should be the next stop.
