It is terrible that poachers do that to animals! Your post, in rhymes, describes the horrible situation found too often to occur in our world.

This poem is so moving with so little said. This work proves that sometimes less is more. I felt anger, sadness, and loneliness simultaneously. Great work and good luck!

    When I saw the photo, I also felt sadness and anger towards these heartless people.

    Not even mothers are spared.

    Luckily the rangers arrived in time at least for the tiny rhino ..he would have been an easy meal for predators.

    Such a cruel act. Not even mothers are spared.

    I believe the poor tiny tyke was taken to a rehabilitation center by the rangers.

    He did stand a chance on his own in the wild, certainly an easy meal for predators.
