Is it a case of falling for lies, or believing in illusions? The happiness may not exist at all, but the sorrow and regret are all too real, und we see how they will continue, even in the midst of obvious signs.

she looks quite comfortable stretched out on that big bed lol
an interesting and thought-provoking little verse
i liked the touch of random rhyme
i like the second stanza with the 'i die...' in a faded colour - i think it brings out the emotion there

The passion and the sad emotion are prevalent in this beautiful poem and presentation. The drooping sunflower at a special touch to this presentation. Thank you for sharing this with us. We're blessed.

She waits in vain, I think, but I think that she knows this. The flowers that are dry express this sentiment very well. Perhaps, she finds solace in her hopes that it might change? Well written and presented.

Oh my, how I feel the yearning and just-beneath-the-surface fury of this free verse, replete with rueful, winsome artwork. You have brought all her feelings to life so beautifully. xoxox

The droopy sunflowers say so much - what should be a symbol of happiness is sad because of the missing loved one whose love letters do not come for whatever reason.

Hi, Gypsy. I hope you are well

Boy, that was a powerful last line with visual effects without the photos. And the picture you painted with the droopy head sunflowers was brilliant.

I'm surprised because my poetry stresses meter and rhyming. This has neither and yet I like it. I love it.

So, accordingly you get one of my six star ratings

I enjoyed reading your poem

Good job. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you very much. I don't write rhyming poems, working so hard to have rhyme and meter scares my muse and she runs away. Free verse comes naturally to me. That's one of the reasons I love Japanese poetry.... no rhymes! LoL

Thank you very much for your exceptional six stars review and kind words.
