This poem, Indiana, reminds me of the song by R. Dean Taylor "Indiana Wants Me", because, well, they both have Indiana in them. That guy killed someone though, and he really didn't miss the state.

I'm a proud resident of Indiana, so I had to read this. I grew up on a farm, so I can relate to your reference to the corn. I call Indiana the sensible state, as there's not a lot of craziness going on here, as some states are experiencing. I lived in Massachusetts and Texas for a while, but was glad to return to my native state. I now live in Terre Haute and have no desire to live anywhere else. Excellent rhyme and flow. I'd suggest not leaving so much space between lines. judi

Well, thank you Judi. And you are so right. I grew up in Evansville and I now live in Florida and I am thinking about moving back because it is just so crazy here!
