A bouquet haiku for the club15 total reviews

A lovely thought, June as you show us that there does not need to be a big bouquet to have impact, for it is the thought behind it, and the love of the child that thought to pick a few daisies from the garden to brighten up a shabby room.
Nicely done,
cheers,
valda

There is much joy in the simple things of life - especially when they come from the hearts and hands of our little ones. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Thank you for participating in the Haiku Club Flowers event. A great entry with a good syllable count and connection between lines. Beautiful presentation and imagery.
Good job,

I really enjoyed your poem as it brought back memories to me from when my kids when they were small would come from the garden with a little bunch of daisies or buttercups saying lovely sweet things, I would put them in a glass on the windowsill. Thanks for sharing and Sparking those wonderful memories

A beautiful oil painting to compliment your Haiku. Children are so tuned-in to nature. I really liked this Bouquet of Flowers. Trust a child to try to brighten a shabby room - children are streets

A wonderful contrast here between the shabby room and the brightness of the flowers, while your middle line delights with the image of a child gathering the daisies. Your lovely haiku, June, skilfully captures an array of emotion. Well done on this club entry! Debbie

Oh, this is so special. As a mom and a grandmom, I will never treasure a "Flower Shop" arrangement as much as I've loved these tiny bouquets of love from big hearts with little hands. I love the way you sum it up:
"Joy in a glass jar"
I wish my grandkids were still young enough to do this... At ten, my youngest grandson, Maxwell, gathered me some dandelions last summer. I loved them, but my heart broke a bit when he said-
"I guess I'm getting too old for this."
The best things in life are free!

Yes! My youngest grandson used to call a yard full of dandelions gone to seed "A FIELD OF WISHES!'

Delightful poem! And I really liked the ending line "joy in a jar" - it brings joy because of the love that motivated the little hands which picked the flowers - usually, it's dandelions. ð???
