It is dangerous to read you. You always make me hungry, even if I just ate. I am in the process of completing my move, and soon will have my cooking gear, and things going where they belong. I asked you once if you have a good recipe for oven BBQ. Do you? Good writing. Karen

Cherf John! Your muse slapped of it faster than Maverick in the cockpit. Great meal, my friend and mouthwatering. I plan on doing the pork tenderloin ASAP. Jack & Company will love the corn but I'm allergic to corn. :(( Me so sad about that. I do oven roasted carrots or sauteed spinach in olive oil. Sometimes both as I can only eat 20 things. Thank you for sharing. A virtual six and my best compliments to the chef.

Your stories and recipes always make me hungry. I didn't know mezcal is tequila. I thought it was a psychedelic plant.

I am so glad you're back John. We have missed your delightful stories and your incredible recipes. It's almost midnight as I read this and now I'm really hungry for pork tenderloin but since it's almost midnight, I'll settle for a short glass of tequila (I hope I have some Mezcal in the cabinet )

Back and not a moment too soon. I've missed your recipes, John, and this sounds like a good one. I just added the items to my grocery list, and we'll have it later this week. You're a godsend, man!

I sympathize with having a few things in the queue but not particularly excited by any of them. Best just to let them sit for a while and wait for inspiration either to improve them with a new enthusiasm or until something else comes along you're excited about. You're doing the right thing. - Jim

Well, you know how to throw your own welcome back party, and a fine one at that! Everything sounds so delicious. I'm glad you found your back, and as you nicely said..."Heads out of the arse," We all need a kick now and then... yours had a little help, maybe from the mezcal, but it's a party!

Oh, my!! This sounds scrumptious (well, okay, the TECHNIQUE of the pork prep, but not the pork itself. I'm still kosher in my eating habits, even though I haven't been Orthodox in two-and-a-half decades. I crack me up about that.)
