This is a lovely and soothing entry for the three line poetry contest. I suspect it is going to do very well. The photograph you chose to accent the message is spectacular. Best wishes!

Hi Melissa,
Constellations do dance across the night sky. I love to watch Orion in February on a moonless night. But when the moon is full, it makes a wonderful target, too. Orion's belt is always nice to look at through the telescope. As for the moon, I enjoy looking at the craters and also the mountains near the edge.
I like the way you describe their movement as a "quiet ballet". But you know, when looking at the moon with a telescope, and having to re-focus every few seconds because of both the moon and the earth constantly moving, you can almost hear it, a groaning echo out there in space.
Good luck with your 5-7-5 entry in the 3 Line Poetry contest! It should be a contender.
Hugs,
Kimbob

A beautiful photograph, Melissa and I love the descriptive opening line of
constellations dance. Truly is an aerial ballet of beauty and you've shown it well in your 3 line poem. Good luck in the contest,
cheers,
valda

Hi Melissa, what a lovely way to explain this beautiful galaxy. Your words are perfect for such an enchanting sky and the gorgeous mountains with snow. I love the idea of a quiet ballet. It is so relaxing. Awesome poem and art for it.
Thanks for sharing, my friend. Love, Debi

Another one of your pretty, pretty poems. I really like your first line--"constellations dance." You know that I enjoy your creative images, and that one is memorable for me. I also like the juxtaposition of the dancing and the quiet ballet. Soft dancing is sweet and a nice thought.
Well done, my friend. Hope you are doing well.

That's a really good three liner, Melissa. Those short ones are sometimes quite difficult, but you have done a good job with this one. I think you will do well in the contest.

Author,
Your three-line poem gives the image of a sparkling first snow of winter, and a quiet ballet.
Winter is such a harsh season where I come from, but your poem gives a nice image of a wintry wonderland.
Good luck,
Cindy
