This lovely poem brought back memories galore. Really caught my younger years and this flowed nicely. Image good and fits the bill as a rhyming poem. Thanks for the sharing and I hope it goes well in the contest.
Take care and have a wonderful day.

This is a wonderful rhyming poem about childhood. I could relate to it. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to visit childhood moments once in a while. Maybe time travel will let us some day. I thought your presentation matched well.
Best wishes,
Alex

Thank you so much for your kind review and another extra star. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have so many great memories of my childhood (probably colored a lot by nostalgia), I'd love to go back so I could re-appreciate them.

Excellent entry for the Childhood writing prompt contest. It brought memories of my childhood. Good rhymes that doesn't sound forced.
Well done

I loved this poem. We had so much more exciting childhoods than the kids do nowadays, on a lot less money! So well written with an interesting rhyme scheme, this work evokes some great memories. Excellent.

What lovely childhood experiences! This poem reads well and I think it was smart to choose a font that resembles a child's hand writing. I hope you keep these memories close to your heart for a very long time. Best wishes

This really encompasses everything that you go through as a child. I remember playing hopscotch, playing with Barbies, monkey bars, hide and seek and tag and drive in movies in our pajamas. Those were the days!
Well written with a nice rhyme too!

This poem, Wonderland, presented with five aabC quatrains, brings those dreamlike days of youth back around so we can pick and choose the good times to relive.

This is an excellent rhyming poem with a very challenging style I'm not so sure I have seen it before, but then there are lots of things I haven't seen L.O.L. What I'm referring to is that fourth line that always ends rhyming with bone. You have built a coherent case for the cherishing of summer days. Best of luck in the contest.

Your childhood memories remind me of my own--all that time outside with friends and those special activities at night. You're right about those memories drifting away over time. Rod
