I understand a young couple thinking their love will be eternal , but someone who has had to
resign himself to a divorce, less.
You are definitely a romantic at heart.
Anyway, eternal love is possible but it takes much effort from BOTH parts.
If love has become one sided, despite you give your EVERYTHING , it won't make the one you love , love you again.
Love is a two sided affair.
Love is a feeling between two people that keeps them connected.

I think it is getting harder to write about love in these love poems contests The expectation is that enough information is displayed to differentiate your poem from the others. It is different.
