What does show is emotional depth and an understanding of the human heart. Even a simple obsession can be enough to pull you from the depths of despair. Darkness isn't always weak. This is very good.

This is a well done free verse about the speaker's view of the perfect man for her. It seems he is caring, persistent, almost selfless, almost a savior. But he does not love her. It does seem he has some darkness that allows him to keep the speaker from falling into it.

He's real. He's a heavy metal singer I like, but despite having problems of his own his very empathetic to his fans and open when talking about mental health.

He is real, but just a heavy metal star so I don't know him. However he's very kind to his fans despite his own struggles.

Indeed. I have another favourite singer who is just the opposite. I try to concentrate on his voice and forget how mean he can be sometimes.
