I enjoyed your heartfelt letter to God, filled with love, fait, and gratitude. He is always good, and understands us perfectly including our fears, doubts and worries. Best wishes for your entry in the contest.

This is a beautiful, honest communication with God. It is very well written, and most importantly, straight from your heart.
My suggestions for improvement:

Whether it is you're prompting
-->
Whether it is your prompting

Your word says that 'there will always be wars and rumours of war.'
-->
Your word says that 'there will be wars and rumours of war.'
[Unless you are reading from a translation I'm not aware of, or translating directly from another language which has a different verb tense, I've never read any translation where Jesus says "there will ALWAYS be wars..." although there always have been wars and rumors! Forgive me, but I am a stickler when it comes to God's Word.]

I can relate very well to your concerns in this letter to God, and I especially like your conclusion:
'Well, at least the personal war in my heart recognises the need to let go and let You lead the way.
One more thing: I love you"
Beautiful job!
Also, some of the spelling you use, and the "X" at the end, tell me that you're not writing from America ;-)
God bless you, my friend.

    Thank you, Mary, for this excellent review. Yes, X means kiss, and odd spelling to you means Scots-born and Australia-educated. Regarding the quote from Matt 24., it was not a direct quote but in a supposed conversational tone in the letter The paragraph with 'you' again as though I was talking to my heavenly father God Bless you too

    Thank you and you're welcome, my Scots-born and Aussie-educated friend! I was born and raised in America, and have never ventured out. Thanks for clarifying the usage of the Scripture verse. I understand. xoxo

I enjoyed your poem. It' sso heartfelt and beautiful. I like how you share the doubts that many people face in their relationship with God. Your willingness to surrender those feelings to God is shown so well here. You show us your deep trust and faith in His love and power. Your expression of love for Him at the end is wonderful. Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt prayer.

    Thanks for the pointer I altered the you to You, as a personal reference from past behaviour rather than you are. Your suggestion made me rethink; thank you again
