Gregg is a conundrum. I can't quite see how he will get out of this one. I know I haven't followed along. I've been to Denmark visiting my family and just wrote an entry for a blind contest.

Nice, another whodunnit. I do like mystery thrillers. A few thoughts:

Perhaps: He could make out faint tear streaks on her cheeks.

Suggest: Greg poured himself a whiskey from the bottle on the bar into one of the nearby shot glasses. Delete: in front of them.

Would he check to make sure the safety was on before he put it in his jacket?

Should this be: bear tattoo?

Unclear: She sucked back another one and raised his glass to his lips, which he drank.
Is this his POV of hers? Is she raising his glass?

Is it her hand that unclips his badge? If his fingers aren't functioning?

It seem Greg is a bit of a fool, and I thought his senses would have been alerted, but no, I don't think he's thinking clearly at all. Definitely not, where to from here, surely Lilith can't do much with an unconscious man, well done Dougles, blessings Roy

Greg has to resist her. I am sure he will somehow, but I have no clue how he's going to do it. I am sure you have something worked out. I really enjoyed reading and couldn't find any way to improve this post.

Well, you've certainly left us on a knife edge! How does he get out of this one? And no suspicion originally of who she really was (dramatic irony?). You built the drama up beautifully as he played completely into her hands. Can he hold out enough against her supernatural powers? Or does he have back-up from his colleagues? Well done, Doug! Thank you. I think the fact that Officer Kelsey wasn't introduced a couple of books back and I worked her into the crew, I wanted this to be a shocking revelation. At least . . . even with past clues . . .that was what I was going for.

Greg had to have had a clue and as a dick he didn't pick up on the booze bottle having strange language. Not too smart as a cop, but somehow he cannot lose even under the influence of paralytic liquor, right?

It's already interesting!
Very nicely written.
But I hate it when the hero has been drugged. (Just kiddin'!)
It does give him an added hurdle, though.
Good luck with it.
