This is a very lovely prayer you have prayed for the writing prompt. You used very heart felt words from the heart. Thank you for the two scriptures also. Best wishes in the contest. love and blessings, Teri

    Teri,

Thank you for your wonderful review. I experience an epiphany recently that inspired me to express this prayer.

    All the best,

Hi. This looks like a good entry for the contest. Good luck with that.!

Your words are heartfelt and illustrate the conundrum that many people feel. They'll say if God is so good why am I having so many problems in life or if God is so good why are there wars and pestilence and crime.? The answer is that man has Will and can override God's plan

I'm pretty sure that murder is part of God's plan. I think he wants the souls of the murder victims. Now if the murder victim is a criminal. Satan takes his soul rather than God.

Suicide, on the other hand takes away. God's will completely and that's why it's a mortal sin

I am new to Christianity and have just found Jesus and somehow, even though I have a lot of problems healthwise ; my husband just died there have been several other deaths within the last year 68 year old sister, son-in-law,(51) brother in law (72) nephew (57) grand nephew (23)

But, I still feel blessed

Good job. Thank you for sharing.

Written from the heart for sure, and well written too. And yet He offers forgiveness (1 John 1:9), and cleansing (Psalm 51, and parts of Psalm 103) and he offers assurance of peace with God (Romans 5:1) and no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Sometimes we have to claim those promises and receive His peace that passes understanding and assurance. Praying for this for you. Sending best wishes for the contest.
Wendy
