What a thoroughly enjoyable read with a great sense of fun and frolic in an upside down world where 'normality' seems to be taking a nap for the moment!

You're welcome:)

I love how whimsical your poem is. Great job describing everything going on in the house with the cat and dog. I had an extra chuckle regarding the dog peeing on the narrator.
I love how you circled back to the pie and the eggs at the end of the poem along with the hope for things to get back to normal.

This poem takes readers on a delightful journey through a topsy-turvy world. The playful language and imagery create a sense of wonder and amusement, as the speaker describes their upside-down house and the challenges of navigating it.
The poem's strength lies in its ability to evoke a sense of childhood imagination and wonder. The speaker's humorous observations about their predicament, like the cat chasing mice up walls and the mail spilling from the sky, will resonate with readers. It is a charming and entertaining poem that leaves the reader with a smile.

This is fun in every way and perfect for the upside poetry contest. My favorite :
I think I'll tie myself in bed,
hope I'll wake up to see...
That everything is right side up,
just like it used to be.
I'm still laughing! Just precious!
Sending you my best today as always, and my very best wishes in the upcoming contest. Sally :))

This is a very funny poem. You paint the imagery perfectly. Not only is the house upside down, but the world is too. I definitely have days like that where all I can think is "is it me?"
The dog peeing on the unfortunate home owner got an out loud chuckle from me. :-)
Great entry for the prompt!
