So, as Blank Verse has meter but is "unfettered" by rhyme, this is a wise perspective. Free verse also does not have a specific rhyme scheme but may have "bits" of meter, or rhyme, or alliteration, etc...
The point is -- your fifteen syllables speak to the power of poetry whether a strict form or free- flowing. It is the essence of the form that flows from our hearts!

Thank you for your excellent review. This was a challenging poem to write as I was unsure if it needed to be in meter. I agree it is the essence of the form that flows that speak to the power of poetry.

This poem, Unfettered by Rhyme, speaks truthfully about the power of poetic voice. I just want to be sure you are not confusing blank verse with free verse. Blank verse, you probably know, has a sonnet form.

This is well written 15 syllable poem. I must at admit I've never tried black verse because my mind has a problem separating it from free verse. I know it is suppose to structure but no rhyme. I need to develope an appreciate of for it. Some feel the rhyme distracts from the true emotion the words mean to covey.
