Generally, I don't rate these unrewarding two cent payers, but this one was so good it demanded a reply, payment or not. This write really lives up to the writing prompt title, it truly is a special delivery.

Lovely nonfiction piece. There were always ways to get round the covid restrictions. I discovered I could break the 10 k boundary to visit my daughter as long as I was taking groceries to her. She's immune compromised and the local deliveries weren't working. This one is well written and heartwarming.

Ah, then he could (almost) have used that excuse, for I too have a compromised immune system! But we did have local delivery services!
