An excellent entry for the Teach Me Something writing prompt. That is some beautiful work and it definitely sounds interesting but if you knew me you'd know that i would definitely burn the building down if I tried it. lol You should share pictures of your own work sometime. I was thinking of putting a photo of the birth plaque which took me many, many hours. But against this one and others I saw online, it looked a bit amateurish. So I thought I would show the possibilities. Yet people might have been encouraged to see what even a beginner can do. Thank you for a lovely review. A great encouragement. (It came a tie for second).

One sentiment expressed stands out here' go as slowly as possible:' - a sentiment, the value of which we seem to have shelved in our modern 'fast' world and its attitude to life. How different the world might be if we applied that 'old fashioned attribute.' Well done - should make it to winner's enclosure -has my vote.

An intriguing art form explained in clear and well expressed detail. Almost like a mantra you encourage the novice to go slowly and steadily, respecting the fact that fire and wood can be a pretty volatile combination. It's nice to see someone who's willing to slow down and take their time on projects. As someone who has a tendency to sometimes rush things I really appreciate those who are patient in any project. I remember as a child getting a thingy I plugged in and designing a pencil holder for my Dad, then painting ducks on it. Haven't thought of that in years. Well written and interesting. The computerized art is not satisfying even though it may end up beautiful, and I like the go slowly. Well done. Esther
