I think in terms of being fun and very relatable to children this one will certainly appeal! I like the way you've personified the spaghetti/wiggly worms and I fear for them in those boiling bubbles (nice alliteration). I also enjoyed the flow and rhyme of your free verse and wish you luck in the contest! Debbie

How inventive, especially for boys! I hope I remember this when my nephew is older,lol. It's well written, too, as a child would understand and relate to, with great rhyme.

This is a very cute poem for kids and I think covers the general love affair between most kids and their sketties!
It reminds me of 'worms in dirt' (gummy worms in chocolate cake). What is it with kids and worms!

Worms are fun to play with and good for fishing, too. And who can forget the little ditty, "The worms crawl in, the worms call out, the worms play pinochle in your mouth." Thanks for the read and review.
