Hmm, interesting. I am guessing by the ending, and the picture, we are to assume the main character is speaking to the police, in some form of interrogation. Curious idea. I wish you luck in the contest.

Your writing does a great job of capturing a raw and intense voice. You brought us into the mind of a self-proclaimed murderer. The use of gritty language and those confident assertions creates a chilling atmosphere. I loved that you showed us someone that seems proud of their dark deeds. Nicely done.
