This gets the point across with very few words. The speaker can't wait to see the person he has been missing. It sounds like a greeting card.

Wow. You're not only met the contest rules you even rhymed your entry. It is hard to write and review these really short poems, but this looks like a good entry for the contest. Good luck in that. I have no criticisms and it is a nice feeling when you see somebody you haven't seen in so long.
