What an incredible man you have crafted this piece for. His brilliance far exceeds us still today. He was definitely in touch with the universe. Thank you for sharing this awesome piece.

I doubt that you could have picked a more appealing man (to me, personally) to write about for this contest, author -- your poem is quite evocative, the mental images profound. Good luck in the contest!

This free verse, Foresight, reminds me how much of the science and information today seems to have been made from whole cloth. The world advances we make are typically from the sights of only a few.

Hi Jessica,
Nice artwork used to illustrate this poem about Albert Einstein's search for wisdom. There were so many men and women who chose to seek out ways to explain happenings in the universe
You use line break and punctuation well throughout the poem to accentuate the emotion.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Congrats on placing third in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Enjoy the rest of the week.

Your poem encourages the reader to consider how Einstein thought, how he came to determine certain things to be true...and proved them. you paint him similar to yourself, curious to understand the workings of the universe and that makes the poem very relatable, not just biographical. Well done!

Well done, Jess. I enjoyed this perceptive poem about the genius of Einstein. What a truly gifted mind he had, which brought us a little closer to understanding the mysteries of the universe. Perhaps it was his dyslexia that enabled him to conceive of things in new ways, which indeed would have made it a gift rather than a disability.
You've captured the essence of his mind through well-chosen words in which the whisper of the cosmos seemed to be brewing in such a way that no one else of his time could perceive or conceive of what he was able to.
I enjoyed this. - Jim

Here, here, Jim! It is fascinating to see how often strengths emerge from what?s considered a "disability." I love that you said that.
My littlest, Camryn, has a condition called DCD (developmental coordination disorder), also known as Dyspraxia. It has a wide range of effects and can impact an individual physically, cognitively, or both. Cam, fortunately, has no cognitive impairment. However, she struggles physically with gross motor coordination and low muscle tone, requiring weekly occupational and physical therapy. My point is, as devastating as it is to see her struggle, I have watched this little girl become an exceptional problem solver, develop highly advanced verbal skills, and blossom into the most empathetic human being I've ever known. Having to work ten times harder to achieve what comes easy to other kids her age (bike, hand-eye coordination, jungle gym, etc.) has built her a set of skills and determination that she may not have had otherwise.

What a brilliantly written poem! Having Albert Einstein be your subject, is phenomenal. It would be so interesting to be inside his mind to see how exactly he thinks. Love this!

I just adore Albert Einstein! We have the same hair! I just have to use more mousse. I have used his quotes in many of my crime fiction books. He thinks outside the box. I so enjoyed your lovely poem.
My favorite:
Still, I ponder, how
could you have known
what could not yet be known?
As the proof still piles high
in theories not disproven.
A virtual six for this marvelous offering.
Sending you my best today as always and my best in the upcoming contest.
