I'm not going to pretend I am anything near experienced in poetry critique, it's a learning curve for me. However, I will make comment on your topic.
I think you are brave, moral, and unafraid to touch on a topic that needs touching on. I have never felt so ashamed as I do as a citizen of a so called developed nation. The only thing that is developed is a sense of utter cruelty.
This is a country (UK) that empties supermarket shelves of everything going for no reason other than a selfish desire. Yet people feel they can cast judgement on others with nothing.
Congratulations on speaking from the heart. It is in short supply these days.

I am unsure how many people will understand this poem on this site with it having a concentration of US members. I know you are talking about the shameless attempts of the Tories to win votes by sending refugees to Rwanda however and it works well as a protest poem. Good luck.
