What an imagination you have, Wayne! This ticks all the boxes for me: original, with delightful humour, well structured and expressed and gives all the background to Ohmie and your inspiration for writing. I love the moonwalk and the clothes worn backwards! Brilliant! And all the while you were being stalked by your muse who very nearly came to grief. So you gave us suspense too! Well done and good luck! Debbie

Thank you very much.
Just wish more had participated in this contest. Payoff will be pretty meager. But at least I got your great review!

I enjoyed reading this unusual story in which you let into the way your mind words as you create. What a novel approach to actually trying ot see amd deal with the sourse of your inspiration. So your actually saw and tackled your muse and sqeezed him into, but fortunately he still lives and let you know that if your wanted to keep writing you should not kill your muse.

Wow, what an amazing adventure you took us on. I love your stalker and how he guided you through your tales. Also, being a bit of a science nerd, I like Ohmie. You have a wonderful imagination and a great way of expressing yourself.
I'm glad you didn't kill your poor Muse. How's a guy supposed to do his job with you stalking him back?
Good stuff,
Rhonda

You're precious!

The creativity of this story is phenomenal. You nearly killed the worst thing you could kill, your creativity. Wearing your clothing backwards and moon walking would certainly lure something into your view, but to see him, creativity, is probably paranoid.

Many writers have used the term "Kill your Darlings, and L. Harper has a novel by the same name. But Roy Peter Clark said the term for this book better with, "Murder Your Darlings." LOL. Thanks for sharing, and not killing your muse. :-)

Murder does have a certain 'feel' over kill. I agree. Thanks for the review.

Well that was quite different. By wearing your coat backwards etc, and being able to confront your stalker, you have succeeded in avoiding being called paranoid. lol. Sending best wishes for the contest.

Great job with this! I hope you still bring back Ohmie now and then. I think he really is one of your brilliant muses. And I like how your walks become the time of stirring creativity for your books! Hope this does well in the contest!

Thank you. I've been wondering whether I'd squeezed all the juice out of Ohmie or not. (smiley face here)

He's a memorable time-traveling character and a means for you to weave in some science and tech info!

I have missed him!

We both have had similar experiences. Once, awhile back, a pig flew over my home. Realizing it for the ill omen it was, I made contact with my buddy, Morbertroid, a little nipper from the Big Dipper. Ohmie intercepted the message. Ohmie was in need of money again. He tried to contact Warren Buffett, but instead got Buffy from "Family Affair". They're going to show that episode tonight but only I can receive tht station.
